Been A Long Time Coming

Saturday April 28
Noah ate his first real snowball today with actual syrup instead of plain ice or apple juice... he had clear grape. Needless to say, he loved it! He also enjoyed playing with Jamisen and meeting Adelaine.
Tuesday April 24
Elle has finally found her feet and is beginning to grab them! Noah peed in the potty tonight, but only after peeing on the floor during dinner and then pooing in the living room!
Sunday April 22
Cajun Fest (my school's fair). Everybody basically just ate lunch and then went home to nap... except for me cause I had to work in our Spin Art booth. Noah was too fussy to play any of the games or even do a Spin Art painting this year.
Thursday April 19

Noah's first Hubig's pie at Jeff's Work picnic... he ate a lemon one. Elle felt grass on her feet for the first time and Noah had a blast playing on the jungle gym climber at Audubon Park. Everyone was exhausted by the time we left!
Wednesday April 18

Elle is really grabbing everything she can get her hands on nowadays and actually seems to be playing.
Monday April 16
Elle was cracking up tonight... after I laughed about something, she started laughing too. NOah joined in and the three of of took turns laughing for a few minutes. Of course she stopped as soon as Jeff broke out the camera... it was the cutest thing ever!
Sunday April 15
Elle is really reaching for, and grabbing onto things. I don't remember Noah's movement being this precise and intentional at this age. Elle just loves playing with her toys (rattles and things she can pull on).
Thursday April 12

Noah had his surgery today to get tubes and remove his adenoids. He was a very brave boy and only cried right after he woke up and was experiencing pain from the intubation and was frustrated because of the iv in his hand and the board keeping his wrist straight.
Monday April 9: Happy 4 month birthday Elle!
We went for Elle's checkup today and she weighs 12lbs 10oz. She is 24" tall with a 16" head. She is up to the 50th percentile for head circumference and height, but she went down to the 35% for weight (from 40% last month).
We drove home from Shreveport today... the drive was not exactly pleasant. Noah talked the whole way home and Elle was very fussy... not that we minded Noah talking, but it was exhausting! He didn't fall asleep until we were pretty much off our interstate exit, so he slept for a few minutes and didn't want to nap when we got home. He at least was willing to lie down while we got settled.
