Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

Sunday April 24

We started the morning with an Easter egg hunt in the living room... they were all filled with Cheerios, puffs, or raisins.

Noah liked his Easter present.

Noah and Jamisen took a little nap before mass.

more to come...

Saturday April 23

I'm gonna get you bunny,

Friday April 22

We went to the zoo today... it was so crowded!

Noah and Jamisen were mesmerized by the flamingos when we first came in.

He really liked when the sea lions finally did some tricks.

Wednesday April 20

Sun-Day and Jamisen came over for a play date this afternoon. They had so much fun passing toys back and forth.

Sunday April 17

When we woke up we were excited to have cool weather. We bundled up and headed outside to try out the new swing. Noah was not as excited as I thought he would be... he would get excited for a few seconds and he would just look indifferent. Perhaps it was just relaxing to him.

Inside he has been dragging this light up bunny around the house by the cord... I thought it was the funniest thing ever!Today was the Easter egg hunt at Aunt Jessica's. Noah was hunting a toy plunger at first, but he started to get the hang of things after a while. We put eggs right in front of him as he walked around to make it as easy as possible. Once I showed him there were crackers inside the eggs he was just interested in having a snack!

Saturday April 16

Noah had a fun day. He started off at the Autism walk where he enjoyed the breezy weather. After a nap we went to visit the Graff's; Noah had fun playing with Dominic... he wasn't quite sure what to do with baby Andrew, he kept swatting at him like he was a doll or something.

We ate dinner at Nonna's. He loved his mac and cheese and corn so much that he went for the corningware when his plate was empty. He sat at the table and ate off of a plate like a big boy too! After dinner Noah was running around with one shoe. Nonna asked him where his shoe was and he bent over and pointed at the one he was wearing.

Friday April 15

Noah and I went to the park by our house after school. He played a little with another boy there and went down the slide with me a few times, but he did not enjoy himself like last night. I think he had so much fun at the picnic because there were so many other children around. It was very windy, so he thoroughly enjoyed his wagon ride there and back.

Thursday April 14

Jeff's school's family picnic was tonight at Audubon Park. When we got there, Noah was so hungry that he grabbed a bun from the beginning of the serving line and had already eaten half of the top before we even reached the pulled pork to put inside. He is not quite ready for a picnic... he did not want to sit still to eat, instead he wanted to roam around and steal food from everyone else. He had so much fun playing on the play structure that he was actually squealing with excitement. He was climbing up on the platform by pulling himself up and he loved going down the big windy slide. He did not want to leave when it was time to go!

Wednesday April13

Tonight was the art market by our house. It was the first time Noah actually got to eat the food at the market. He brought his own broccoli and he enjoyed his rice and stuffed meatballs from the market.

Tuesday April 12

Noah was very excited to "catch" the light.
Noah got to hang out with Cyrus and Papa after school today. They walked down to the park to play. Papa said Noah kept climbing up the slide then plopping down and sliding down... over and over again. Of course he had a great time.

Saturday April 9

Noah was not himself today... he was quiet. We were going to take him for a haircut, but I just wasn't ready, s0 I trimmed his bangs this morning to get them out of his eyes. He got fussy this afternoon... very fussy! He had been drooling all day which he's never done before. I checked for new teeth on the bottom and next to the tops, but I didn't see anything. After bath he really started crying, so I stuck my finger in his mouth and found 2 teeth coming in the back top... not next to the other 4 at the top. After some more Tylenol, his antibiotic, and some oragel, he was in better spirits. We played with Daddy's gloves before bed. Noah was fascinated when I put the glove on and wiggled my fingers then took it off. At bedtime our little guy was tired and eager to lay down... I thought he fell fast asleep, but after about 15 minutes he started to cry. It was heatbreaking for me, but we stuck to his routine and stayed out of his room. He fell asleep and had much needed quiet night.

Friday April 8

Jeff had to pick Noah up from school this afternoon... he was running fever again. At least he stays in good spirits. A cool bath and some Tylenol at home and he was good as new. He was very picky about his dinner again though... he used to love avocados and now he won't eat them at all.

Thursday April 7

When I got to school to pick up Noah he was at the table with a crayon and a picture of Easter eggs. It was so cute! They had all the kids at two tables "coloring"... some of them were actually coloring! I helped Noah, but he was more interested in checking out the crayon than using it. He was picky at dinner tonight.. he ended up eating a muffin like a big boy. We gave it to him and he was picking it up, taking a bite, and putting it down.

Wednesday April 6

Noah is figuring out how to climb on his riding toys... he usually climbs on backwards, but every once in a while he manages to face the front.

Tuesday April 5

Jeff received a call from Noah's school today... he had fever. We took him to the doctor at 4 and his ears are infected again! She did not want to give antibiotics because he just stopped the last round last week. He just has a low grade fever and he seems to be doing fine, so we hope it will resolve on its own.

Monday April 4

Noah was bitten again at school today. :( But then he came home and climbed up all the stairs all by himself!

Sunday April 3

We went to St. Dominic's Fair today... boy was it hot!!! I lubed Noah up with sunscreen... he smelled so good!
fishing for duckies

Is this one a winner?

Then we went to visit the new member of the Graff family... Andrew Carlos.

born at 2:46am at 7lbs 4oz
congrats to Teresa, Nick, and Dominic

Noah has been trying to crawl under his activity table... he got stuck and just started crawling around with it on his back... he looked like a turtle!

He has also learned how to climb onto his chair (and stand on it too). He loves to sit and look at his fish.

Saturday April 2

Such a busy day today... we left the house about 8am and didn't come home until dinnertime! We dropped my car off for an alignment and ran some errands. We went to a crawfish boil/ BBQ for our neighbor's business celebrating one full year in business. Noah could not get enough of the potato salad and hamburgers. He was the hit of the event (being the only child there). From there we went to Storyland to meet up with some friends; unfortunately even though Noah took a decent morning nap, he was worn out by this time. We didn't stay long because we had to get home for dinner; Nonna was coming over to babysit Noah so Jeff and I could go out.

Friday April 1

Noah moved up to the 1 year old class at school today! We have been visiting and spent about 20 minutes there playing yesterday to get him ready. He didn't seem to have any problems transitioning. He even took a 2 hour nap on a nap mat!!!
