 River is finally starting to subside, so we're packing up to leave our island.

 We found lots of cool bugs while exploring in the yard.

 Uncle Vern had to canoe next door to get some things for Jan.

 The waterway behind Noah is actually the driveway with too much water to drive out.

 Noah and Elle really enjoyed their time with Auntie Glo and Uncle Vern.

Wednesday August 29: Hurricane Issac

 And the water just kept rising... here it is at 8 feet, it got all the way up to 11 feet.
