Thursday February 14 - Happy Valentine's Day!

Nonna baby sat for Noah and Elle so Jeff and I could go out to eat.  Elle was so tired that she grabbed for the bed to get in when I was rocking her to sleep.

Tuesday February 12 - Happy Mardi Gras 2013

 Elle was so good about holding her hands up and waving them!

 

 Noah had so much fun playing with a little boy we met standing by us... they were running around and got all dirty - you can see some of it on his elbow.

 Elle climbed in and out of the wagon all day, it was the perfect spot for her to be comfortable and check out her loot.

We hung out until Elle started telling everyone night night, at which point we decided it was time to head home.  :)

Monday February 11

Happy Lundi Gras!

vroom vroom (that's what Elle was saying)... she loves pushing her little pink car around

Elle was playing on the train, and then Noah hopped on to choo choo around the house.

Sunday February 10

 Another lucky day... it was supposed to storm, but we still made it to the parades after church.  We parked at William's house and took the wagon down to Magazine a few blocks after Jefferson.  We ran into one of Jeff's students, so Noah had a playmate.

Saturday February 9

 The kids enjoyed strolling up and down the parade route while waiting for Iris to start.

 After going through all the trouble to bring the ladder and seat, neither Noah or Elle would sit on it (until we put it on the ground)!

 Noah enjoyed standing on the ladder without the seat.

We lucked out... it was supposed to rain, but it held out for us to go to Iris.  We watched it at the very beginning in front of Sami's house... we had a big area to ourselves since the parade didn't technically start until 2 blocks later.  :)

Sunday February 3

 The weather was nice, so we hung out outside today.  All was well until Noah threw some of the dirt he had been digging up into the air... it landed all over Elle...

 I tried combing it out, but we ended up in the bath.

This pot grew a big weed!
